In this day and age, we have to understand that Family is not anymore about blood, but about support.
We are looking for professional Guides, qualified, that would like to have extraordinary guests that will be perfect for their trip. This is the chance you have to start specializing in the tours you love, with the people you can associate with.
So what do we know about Guiding? We have managed 5* Remote Lodges in Namibia, Botswana and Zambia, and have often taken the guests out on a tour. And sometimes on a short excursion of a few days. People think it is easy, it is not. You always have to be on your best, your head needs to be clear and answer the questions. Its honest, hard work! And many times it goes deep into the night, if your guests want it. The worst for BOTH parties is if the guide and guests have nothing in common, are too much different, and sometimes even differences that can cause conflict. So here we strive to market you on a personal page to meet up with the perfect guests and have the most fun while working very hard!
What you need to join: Your ID, digital images of your qualifications, a good, friendly, but informal “ID Photo” where your face can be seen clearly (so no sunglasses), and some photos as per your chosen package. You can send more photos (you can also email; just let us know in the form) so we can make your advert and cards.
We know your time is limited.
We also know you are away for long times, and cannot always attend to the admin things. We thus set up affordable packages running for 2 years, and ask that you let us know any changes during this time to your status (Including new First Aid Course etc).
When you join, we send you a digital card that you can print and laminate, and carry as well, with your Guide Number on to make remembrance easier. Soon we will be asking for special rates and other special items for our Guide Family. We will also be available to you for advise and even training, should you need, and be there if you have any complaints that needs following up. While you freelance, you will not be alone. You Belong.
Payment is secure and easy via Payfast. When Paying, please use the code GOA and your name/Surname as a reference to accompany your form.Please complete the form first and then the payment. Choose your package amount and correct it on the form before clicking the Pay Now Button. You need a bank card for this.
